Sessions is constelia.ai/fantasy.cat's HWID system which includes dynamic fingerprinting and identity ciphering to allow you to dual-boot between Windows and Linux or switch between local devices (laptop). Sessions also works as your personal diary of your activity in constelia.ai. Read more about this here.

--sessions allows an FC2 solution to start the Session creation steps for you. You must have a Session to use any constelia.ai solutions and to use the Web API. This launch argument is defaulted in both the .bat and .sh launch script for Universe4 and Constellation4. It is not included inside of Blender or Whitehat3.

Therefore, you have no reason to manually invoke this considering you should always be running/starting solutions through the launch scripts.
